Why should I hire The Camus Quartet?

The Camus Quartet is chamber group whose repertoire includes everything from Bach to Beethoven, the Beatles and even Led Zepplin. Their accomplishments include performing and recording with Issac Hayes, Rosemary Clooney, Jose Feliciano, Wayne Newton, Paquito D'Rivera and many others; arranging music for “the President’s Own” US Marine Corps Band; playing for many years in Costa Rica, and leading master classes in music schools throughout the United States. Having toured Europe, the Americas and Asia, each player has achieved a level of musicality. The Camus Quartet’s goal is playing great music with great joy; its mission is to offer its professionalism, flexibility and spirit of fun and enthusiasm to your special day. Whether you’re craving Mozart, Thelonius Monk or Metallica, The Camus Quartet can provide your event with the soundtrack of your dreams.

Will the musicians in the samples be the same ones at my event?

Yes. The members of The Camus Quartet have been playing together since 1997. Occassionally one of our players may be replaced when circumstances require them to attend another event.

What do the musicians wear?

Formal attire is the norm for most special events: Men - tuxedo, Women - black dress. Since most of our performances are in the desert southwest, appropriate attire can be worn for summer events.

What does the group require at the event?

Each of the players will need an armless chair, a space about 10 feet by 10 feet. During the summer months outdoor playing will require the musicians to be covered from the sun, not under a tree. If rain is forecast, then an indoor location will be required.

There is a special piece of music I would like performed. Can you do that?

Yes. If it is not in our repertiore, or available for string quartet, we can write an arrangement for the quartet.
